The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2 and there’s quite a lot that’s happened. Along with New Monarchy winning the recent Faction Rally (it’s not important, don’t worry), Nightfall scoring, Nightfall Challenge Cards and Emblem variants have been implemented with the latest update.

This week’s Nightfall is Tree of Probabilities. There’s no timer in the normal Nightfall but modifiers are also absent. Enemies are beefier and more challenging than before though. If you want actual fun mechanics to play with, then the Prestige Nightfall Challenge Card is for you.

It allows you to increase elemental damage, both outgoing and received; lower your Power level; and opt in for Extinguish, which sends your fireteam back to orbit if you wipe. Extinguish is on by default while the other two Challenge Cards will increase your score multiplier for earning Emblem variants and an aura.

Otherwise, the Flashpoint is Titan this week so head there to complete some Patrol missions and Public Events. Cayde-6’s Treasure Maps may also prove worthwhile to investigate. What are your thoughts on the recent Nightfall changes? Let us know below.
