Exotic vendor Xur has returned to the dull landscape of Bungie’s Destiny 2, which will see a major update to the sandbox going live on March 27th. Until then, you can pick up some of these Exotics for the price of Legendary Shards. For as stale as Destiny 2 has been for a while now, there are actually some great items to be had.
Exotic gear this week consists of Lion Rampant (Titan boots), Orpheus Rig (Hunter boots) and Karnstein Armlets (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Orpheus Rig is a must-have for Nightstalker hunters since it provides ability energy for each enemy caught in Shadowshot’s tether. This is a great way to chain multiple Shadowshots together.
Karnstein Armlets are also pretty good since they allow for a large amount of health recovery with melee kills and grant increased resistance and mobility for melee hits. The Exotic weapon is Sunshot, a hand cannon that causes enemies to explode on death and actually puts a bit of “oomph” into those explosions unlike Dragonfly. The weapon itself feels good and is generally recommended for PvE (though it can work in PvP as well). It can be yours for 29 Legendary Shards.
