Destiny 2 Maintenance Scheduled for 9 AM PST, March 27th

The "Go Fast" will be deployed during the two hour maintenance window.

Bungie’s Destiny 2 will be undergoing server maintenance at 9 AM PST today. Once maintenance starts, players won’t be able to login to the game. At 10 AM PST, those already in activities will be kicked to the title screen and update 1.1.4 will be available to download. Server maintenance will wrap up at 11 AM PST.

Update 1.1.4 is the much touted “Go Fast” update that will increase the movement speed of different classes along with decreasing the cooldown on abilities and Supers. Weapons will also receive tuning to make many of them more viable – several weapons will be getting damage boosts in PvE as well. To get a glimpse of how some classes like Dawnblade Warlock will work can be seen in a recent developer commentary uploaded by Bungie.

Whether the update will help the player base in the long term, especially those dissatisfied with the overall gameplay loop and lack of an end-game, remains to be seen. Stay tuned for patch notes on update 1.1.4 when they go live.
