Microsoft is gearing up for what is inarguably going to be its biggest E3 showing ever- the company has rented out an entire auditorium to double as show floor space for its games- and ahead of that, Microsoft has begun promising fans what they can expect from the company’s showing this year.

With Xbox currently seeing year on year sales growth, and renewed interest in the brand thanks to initiatives like backward compatibility, release of the hugely appealing Xbox One X hardware, and launches of major exclusives such as Sea of Thieves, the company is promising an E3 briefing “filled with new game”.

“It’s a great time to be a gamer and to be a part of Team Xbox. We’re hard at work on exciting plans for E3, from what will be a great briefing filled with new games to the fan experience at the Microsoft Theater. This is our biggest E3 yet, and we look forward to a great week for gamers,” Microsoft said.

Happily, Microsoft seems to be refraining from using hyperbolic language such as “our best E3 yet” or “the greatest lineup in Xbox history”, which has backfired on them in the past. Hopefully, this year, they will let their games themselves, and not their words, do the talking for them.
