For Honor Season 6

When Ubisoft’s For Honor first launched in February 2017, it immediately made an impact with its nuanced combat system. A bevy of shortcomings like peer-to-peer connections, balancing problems, lack of polish and so on saw its player base drop.

However, Ubisoft has been dedicated to improving it, from introducing free events, new heroes and maps, a training mode and dedicated server support. In a new video, the development team talks about launch and the various improvements made, including working with players for changes.

Given the game’s situation last year – one that was ironically shared by other releases like Rainbow Six: Siege and Tom Clancy’s The Division in their first years – it’s good to see the development team in high spirits. Near the end of the video, it even offered a tease for what’s coming up, with what seems to be a new hero (and possible new faction).

For Honor will have a “major presence” at Ubisoft’s E3 2018 presser so we’re very interested to see what’s coming next. What do you think the next hero could be? Let us know in the comments below.
