Overcooked 2 Releasing on August 7th For Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC

Prepare for portals, transforming levels and throwing ingredients

Overcooked 2

As rumours indicated (once again), Overcooked 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Of course, it’s also coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well on August 7th. Check out the reveal trailer below which aired during Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct presentation.

New maps, recipes, tools and scenarios are already being touted. To mix up gameplay, there will be levels with portals that allow players to travel from one side to another. Some levels will even transform after certain events. One example was a hot air balloon that can crash into a sushi restaurant. Being able to throw ingredients this time around should prove useful though even more chaotic – hit someone with them and they’ll become dazed.

The main appeal to the series is its co-op element. To that end, wireless, local and online co-op will be returning in Overcooked 2. So whether it’s random strangers on the internet or your best friends, there’s enough hate to go around when things go wrong.
