Destiny 2 (11)

Bungie is offering another free weekend for its shared world shooter Destiny 2, this time for PlayStation 4 players. The free weekend starts on June 29th at 12:01 AM PDT and will end on July 1st at 5 PM PDT. Check out the trailer below.

Throughout the weekend, you can play the entire base game for the low, low price of free. The entire campaign and all PvP modes are available to experience though The Curse of Osiris and Warmind DLC packs don’t seem to be included. The good news is that every piece of gear and progress earned will transfer over into the full game if you buy it.

This isn’t the worst time to get into Destiny 2 either. The Forsaken DLC launches on September 4th and promises a dark new storyline centered on Prince Uldren and the Barons of the Scorn. Players will explore new areas like The Tangled Shore and The Dreaming City while having Record Books, the return of Random Rolls, a new raid and a new PvPvE mode called Gambit to dive into.
