While a lot of PC ports of Call of Duty games are famously bad, most notably the ones for the games developed by Infinity Ward, Treyarch at least tries to do right by the PC versions of its games. And so, again, with this year’s Black Ops 4 being stewarded by them (albeit with Beenox helping with the PC port), the PC version this year will be pretty full fledged and full featured.
Speaking variously on Twitter, the official Treyarch PC account confirmed that the PC version of the game will support HDR, Ultrawide resolutions, including 21:9 and 32:9, 4K resolutions, an FOV slider (which is by default at 90, but can go as low as 60 and as high as 120), toggles for mouse filtering and acceleration (set to off by default), and sliders to adjust sensitivity for ADS on PC, with independent sliders for vertical and horizontal sensitivity.
It all sounds great, and honestly, I would have ordinarily said that this might be the most successful PC Call of Duty game in a good while… except, you know, the part where it is Battle.net exclusive, meaning it is not on Steam. I imagine that will kill its sales potential a bit.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
That is correct–Ultra Wide screens, 4K, HDR… all supported (and 21:9)

On top of the FOV slider on PC you can set one of several aspect ratios: 5:4. 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9

That is correct — a range of 60 to 120. It defaults to 90

Been asked if there will be sliders to adjust sensitivity in ADS on PC. The answer is YES. In fact, the sensitivity can be customized horizontally and vertically, independently. These are multipliers that can go from 10% to 200% of the hipfire value.

One quick one: was asked about mouse filtering and acceleration. Both are options, both default OFF.
