Grand Theft Auto V’s success knows no bounds. Even though it’s a five year old game, it continues to sell like peanuts, having crossed 90 million copies sold quite recently- and perhaps there’s a very good reason for that. Because other than the fact that, with its single player and online component combined it’s an infinitely replayable game, there’s also something else to consider. That Rockstar have crammed Los Santos full of a ridiculous level of detail, the kind you don’t often see in other games. These details help bring this world to life like no other, pulling players into a deeply immersive experience, and shining bright in the background where, in all likeliness, many might not even notice them.

In this feature, we’re going to take a look at fifteen such tiny yet incredible details. Let’s jump right in, shall we?

WET CLOTHES

Characters getting their clothes wet when they jump into water bodies isn’t anything that wows us anymore. We’ve seen it in a great number of video games- but GTA 5 takes it all one step further. If you enter a water body with a character and then get out, you will, of course, notice that their clothes are wet. What you will also notice, though, is that their clothes will only be wet till they point they went into the water.
