While we had only recently seen a lot of upcoming games presented at E3, there’s a lot to be excited for at the upcoming Gamescom as well. The event kicks off on August 21, going on till August 25, and we can expect to see a lot of huge games being showcased there. The likes of Microsoft, Nintendo, Square Enix, and Capcom have already announced their lineups for the trade fair, and now, so have Activision.

They will be showing a number of games at the event, and surprisingly enough, the line-up also includes From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice which players will be able to try out for themselves at the event. Yep, it’s going to be playable. While huge games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Destiny 2’s expansion Forsaken will also be playable at this event, they are set to release within the next couple of months.

On the other hand, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’s release date is still far away, since it doesn’t come out till 2019. So this is definitely a pleasant surprise- not that this is the only 2019 game at the entire event, of course, so it’s not completely out of the ordinary. Either way, we’re not complaining, because this is the first time that the public will be able to try this game out for themselves.

Based on what we know so far, this is definitely a game worth getting excited for. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2019, as we’ve already mentioned.
