Left Alive Could Arrive For Other Platforms After Launch

Square Enix will "look into" other possibilities after the PS4 and PC versions launch.

Left Alive

Square Enix’s Left Alive hasn’t had a ton of information since its announcement at the Tokyo Game Show last year, save for some new screenshots shared at Gamescom 2018. However, game director Toshifumi Nabeshima did offer an interesting bit via a translator to DualShockers during the trade fair at Cologne.

As you might know, Left Alive will be heading to the PlayStation 4 and PC at launch. The question of other platforms is still up in the air, but it may be somewhat possible. On being asked about a release for other consoles, Nabeshima said, “Our first mission now is to get the PC and PS4 versions released as well as they can be. Once that is done, we’re going to look into other possibilities as well.”

While this doesn’t exactly indicate whether it will or will not come to Xbox One and/or Nintendo Switch somewhere down the line, there is hope. At this point, we’re just waiting for Left Alive to receive a release date for its current platforms. Square Enix still has it listed for a release in 2018, so who knows? Maybe Tokyo Game Show 2018 could provide more information when it takes place from September 20th to September 23rd.
