The team working on Anthem at BioWare has constantly been interacting with fans in various ways, answering questions and clearing up doubts while speaking about a wide variety of topics, including things such as matchmaking, item trading, dealing with potential toxicity in the game’s community, and a lot more. Thanks to another round of tweets by Anthem’s executive producer Mark Darrah, in which he answered a few more questions, we have more new details on the upcoming shared world shooter.
For starters, it doesn’t look like Anthem will support cross-progression across systems. When asked if this would be a feature in the game, Darrah said that that wouldn’t be the case, though interestingly enough, he did also say “at launch” – so there’s a possibility that it might be added on after the game’s launch.
Darrah also confirmed that players will have the option of inverting flight controls for their Javelin exosuits in Anthem. He also gave some interesting details on gear slots in the suits, mentioning that both, your melee abilities as well as your suit’s Ultimate ability, will be count as gear slots, and that at launch, these won’t be changeable. Once again, though, him saying “at launch” might be hinting that this is something that could change down the line.
Anthem launches on February 22, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Ok technically Ultimate and Melee are also gear slots. But those won’t be changeable at launch https://t.co/eNjWwHGFpv
