Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone’s breakout farming RPG Stardew Valley is now available for iOS, courtesy of The Secret Police. It retails for $7.99 and has no in-app purchases or advertisements, so check it out on the Apple Store today. As for the Android version, its release date still seems to be up in the air.
For iOS users, there’s quite a lot to delve into. This is Stardew Valley version 1.3 and even though it doesn’t have multiplayer, all of the single-player content is available along with updates. The mobile version does sport some changes to the user interface and HUD, but nothing too drastic. You’ll still explore enormous caves, fish, grow crops, and ultimately find a nice partner to settle down with.
All said and done, this is the Stardew Valley that you’ve grown to love (and probably become obsessed with). PC players interested in moving to the mobile version also don’t have to worry about starting fresh. Their progress can be transferred from PC to mobile with this handy guide. Expect more information on the Android port in the coming weeks.
