Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is, in just about every meaningful way, exactly what it says on the tin—the ultimate Super Smash Bros. game. It’s no surprise, then, that this new game has received as much praise and critical acclaim as it has, and has been selling like gangbusters. Smash games always do well in terms of reviews and reception, but with Ultimate going above and beyond, it was always going to strike a chord. No wonder, then, that it got reviewed so positively.
Those reviews are what Nintendo shows off in this newest trailer for the game that they put out today (and which you can see for yourself below). The new trailer shows off all the plaudits the game has been showered with, while also giving us some more gameplay footage to work with (though, on that front, you hardly need more—it’s Smash Bros., just more of it). But hey, if for whatever reason, you needed positive critical reception to sell you on the game, this trailer ought to be just for you.
