While we’ve known for a while that Anthem will be receiving a demo roughly a month before its final launch, EA have gone ahead and revealed the full dates for when the demo will be available. As has become the norm with all EA games now, a certain group of players will be able to get into the demo earlier than everyone else.
EA has confirmed that those who pre-order the game on any platform, or have subscriptions for Origin Access on PC or EA Access on Xbox One, will be able to begin playing the demo on January 25, up until January 27. Meanwhile, everyone else will get access on February 1, as EA had announced earlier- the public phase of the demo will go on till February 3. EA also confirms that those who play the demo in the “VIP” stage will get an exclusive in-game item in the final game- though they haven’t gone into what that item will be.
We also know, thanks to information trickled through by BioWare over the last few days, that players will start the demo at Level 10, with the cap being Level 15. Progress won’t be carried over to the full game, while in terms of content, the demo will include a stronghold, bits of Fort Tarsis, some missions, and more. Get all the details here.
Anthem itself launches in full on February 22 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
