With every new new generation comes better processors and video cards, which eventually means better visuals. The graphics in video games have come a long way. If you take a look at our article about how game’s graphics have evolved in the last 25 years you will get a better idea. It also goes without saying that better hardware has also resulted in to better gameplay.

The recently released Crysis 2 DX 11 version is easily the most realistic looking game ever to grace the industry. But do you guys really think that is all?

Video games graphics are made out of polygons. With each new hardware revision, developers try and increase the polygon count in order to make games more realistic. The guys over at Euclideon, have created a model which improves the graphics by a factor of 100,000 times. It’s because they used polygon converter and by converting polygon in to unlimited detail data, one can run graphics in unlimited details. The system uses real world atoms and scans them to give an extremely realistic look to the object.

The way the technology is advancing, its only obvious that video game graphics will only get better with unlimited details.
