Resident Evil 2 Screenshots Show off the Most High Definition Chunk of Tofu In Video Games

This most delicious treat for T-virus zombies is a better survivor than it looks like.

Get out of the way, Claire. Sit back down, Leon. Get your face out of my face, Ada. Everyone knows that the best character in Resident Evil 2 is the Tofu Survivor. We’ve known for a while now that both the Tofu Survivor and Hunk, a.k.a. the Fourth Survivor, will be featured in the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 2, and Capcom have now shared a couple of screenshots to show them both off.

Truly, this is the best looking tofu we’ve ever seen in a game. For those who’re not fortunate enough to know about him, he is, as his name suggests, a big block of tofu, who carries around a knife, wears a cop’s hat, and decimates zombies and eats them for breakfast. Incidentally, tofu was also originally put into the 1998 game by Capcom to test its collision detection systems and make sure they work, so really, without tofu, Resident Evil 2 wouldn’t exist, and neither would this remake.

Take a look at the delicious zombie treat, as well as the Umbrella operative Hunk, also known as the Grim Reaper, in the images shared by the official Resident Evil Twitter below.

Resident Evil 2 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in just ten days’ time, on January 25. If you’re planning on playing it on PC, there’s good news for you- the game will feature ultra wide support. Meanwhile, its full Trophies and Achievements list was also leaked- take a look through here.
