Treyarch’s free trial for Blackout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is now live for all platforms. If you’ve always wondered what the fuss was about, then now is your chance to try the Battle Royale mode for yourself as well. The free trial be available until January 24th, 10 AM PST.
Blackout has seen a number of changes since launch, including the addition of Hijacked from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The most recent update added a new looting interface for console players, making it more intuitive to gear up in battle. There’s also the limited time “Down But Not Out” mode, which allows respawning as long as a single team member is still alive.
Those interested in picking up Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for Blackout can actually pick up the game at a decent price right now for PC. On Battle.net, the Standard Edition has been discounted to $39.99, thus providing multiplayer, Zombies, and Blackout in one cheap(er) package. Of course, one could always pick up the Battle Edition later for multiplayer and Blackout.
Now live in #Blackout on PS4: Down But Not Out!
