At the Tribeca Film Festival on April 25th, Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima, and Norman Reedus, who plays the role of the game’s protagonist, will be together on a panel being moderated by Geoff Keighley that will focus on the duo’s experience working together, on the development of the game, and how it wishes to push the medium forward.

Kojima and Reedus will speak about “pushing the boundaries of the video game medium”, while also discussing their working relationship, and how it has evolved as the two have collaborated on this game (though this, of course, isn’t the first time they have done so, with the two also joining hands for the now-cancelled Silent Hills). While we shouldn’t expect to hear updates on how far along the development of the game has come, or when we can expect to hear more about it, the panel should hopefully give rise to an insightful discussion between the two.

Death Stranding is slated for an exclusive release on the PS4, but is currently without a release date. Not too long ago, Kojima confirmed that the game was “slightly” behind schedule, but later the developers also stated that the game is in a “key” time of development. Read more on that through here.
