Destiny 2 Xur Inventory: Jade Rabbit, Starfire Protocol, Lucky Pants

Some decent Exotics and a new Invitation of the Nine round out Xur's offerings this week.

Destiny 2 Xur

Xur made his presence known, as usual, last Friday in Bungie’s Destiny 2. You can still find him in the Tower Hangar, where he’ll remain until tomorrow’s weekly reset. If nothing else, it’s worth picking up the latest Invitation of the Nine, “Strength”, which costs nine Legendary Shards (but is exclusive to Annual Pass owners).

For everyone else, there’s Lucky Pants (Hunter boots), Dunemarchers (Titan boots), and Starfire Protocol (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Starfire Protocol is worth a look, since it grants another Fusion Grenade charge and restores grenade energy with empowered weapon damage. Dunemarchers is also good for Titans using Shoulder Charge, since it damages nearby enemies as well.

The Exotic weapon for this week is The Jade Rabbit, a scout rifle that costs 29 Legendary Shards. It’s fairly straightforward – the more body shots landed, the more damage your next precision shot does. Though it’s not the best PvE or PvP weapon, it has a novelty factor of sorts. In the meantime, Pinnacle Weapons can be collected once more, thanks to a recent hotfix.
