Stories Untold

Regardless of how one feels about Epic Games and their strategy with the Epic Games Store, they have consistently been giving out free games since they launched. The last game was the indie classic, World of Goo. It even got some free updates for its giveaway. Now it’s time for the next game, and it’s No Code’s Stories Untold.

The game is an episodic horror game based around media technology from the 1980s. It blends text-based adventure, first-person exploration, and puzzle solving. It was originally released as four separate episodes with different settings and stories. Stories Untold combines all four of them in remastered editions. Stories Untold will be available starting today until the end of the month on May 30th.

No Code’s next title, Observation, also comes out next week for PlayStation 4 and PC on May 21st, so getting Stories Untold now will give you a good idea of what the developer is capable of in eerie and unsettling environments.
