For the first time in what feels like a very long time, we’re getting a full scale single player Star Wars game in the form of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. While we got our first gameplay look at the game at E3, the initial demo was only a taste. As more hands-on impressions have come out, more people have come back impressed with what Respawn is doing. The game clearly has some Souls influences, so the natural question after that is- how hard is the game? And, another question asked of any pure single player experience nowadays- how long is it?

On a panel at the E3 2019 Coliseum, Respawn Studio Head Vince Zampella and Director Stig Asmussen broke down a lot of information about the game. They talked about the game’s story, potential space combat, and bosses.

When addressing criticisms that the demo was too easy, they both disagreed. They said they felt Fallen Order would actually be a pretty tough game, though not as hard as a Dark Souls or Sekiro. As far as length, they punted giving an estimate on how long it’ll take, but promised a “meaty” experience and that it definitely wasn’t a short, “5 hour” game. So it sounds like they’re aiming to hit a just right target in both cases. You can see the whole panel below.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will release November 15th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In the meantime, read a breakdown of everything we’ve learned about the game so far.
