Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have Multiple Endings, Photo Mode Unconfirmed

CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 will have multiple different endings, according to quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz. Speaking to YongYea at E3 2019, Tomaszkiewicz didn’t say how many endings there would be. Still, we can probably assume that it’s more than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (which was roughly three large, different endings with a few more minor variations on top).

Interestingly, though CD Projekt RED was initially planning a photo mode for the game, it appears that plan is up in the air. Tomaszkiewicz said the developer is still “seriously” considering it, though it’s “hard to tell” if it will make it. Other interesting bits include being able to play the entire campaign without any augmentations (aside from the beginning two).

Furthermore, the developer hasn’t committed to a level cap just yet either. As such, along with different endings, there should be plenty to entice players to replay the game. You could opt for a non-lethal playthrough, for instance (and yes, throwing goons down garbage chutes qualifies).

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on April 16th 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The E3 2019 gameplay demo will be revealed at PAX West in August and should make the wait easier.
