Dauntless

A lot of massive hits you see coming. No one blinks an eye when an Assassin’s Creed or Mario game is a success. That’s not always the case, though, and some success stories can really catch you by surprise. Such is the case with Dauntless, the monster hunting title with a fun and cartoonish style that has blown up huge, in no small part due to its crossplay features. And the hunt continues, as new content is coming next week.

Developers Phoenix Lab is about to drop the next major update for the game, which they are calling Fortune and Glory. It will add a new NPC named Lady Luck who will bring challenge trials with her that have two different difficulties, Normal and Dauntless. Outside her shop is also the Wall of Champions which gives players chances to get on the new leaderboards for both solo and team play. Along with that comes the next Hunt Pass, called High Skies, which will be filled with pirate-themed items. You can read full details here.

Dauntless is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version planned for later in the year. The Fortune and Glory update will go live sometime next week.
