Among the many things you can do in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled are Crystal Challenges. There are 12 in total, each with their own separate track. The objective is to collect 20 scattered crystals within the time provided. Completing all of them will unlock the “Oh, Shiny!” Trophy/Achievement. Seven challenges are listed as part of Crash Team Racing while the other five are for Crash Nitro Kart.

Four Crystal Challenges are tied with Adventure Mode – each will provide a CTR Token that’s needed to unlock the Gem Cups and fully complete the story. If you completed them during Adventure Mode, they will count towards your overall progress. You need to go to Local Arcade for the other eight, though they can be completed on Easy difficulty.
