The king of the football simulation genre, FIFA, is releasing its newest annual edition soon. One thing fans of the series and sport always look forward to each year is what athlete will get the honor of being the cover star. Nowadays that usually equates to two or three different people with the various editions. Earlier in the month we got to see who would get on the standard and Champions Edition, and now we know who will be on the Ultimate Edition. And I’m betting fans will be pretty happy.
Via a press release, EA announced that Zinedine Zidane would be gracing the cover of the Ultimate Edition of the game (which you can see below). On top of that, he will be inducted as a FUT 20 ICON, joining Andrea Pirlo, Didier Drogba, Ian Wright, and Ronald Koeman in the legends on the roster. Zidane has been requested for quite some time, so this should please a lot of people.
FIFA 20 will release on September 27th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. You can also check out some information on the upcoming improvements to the popular Pro Clubs through here.
