Daemon X Machina developers Marvelous have clearly been very receptive to feedback provided to them by fans. After releasing a demo for the action title earlier in the year, the developers sought feedback from players regarding what they’d played and seen. Already, they have implemented many new features and improvements in response to that feedback.

One such improvement was made to the game’s frame rate as well. Speaking in an interview that was posted to the News section of the Nintendo Switch (via Reddit), the game’s producer, Kenichiro Tsukuda, mentioned that when the demo was released, the game had still been in early stages of development. After receiving feedback for the demo from fans, the development team decided to prioritize making improvements to the frame rate.

“We took all the main points that users brought up,” said Tsukuda. “A lot of users mentioned that they wanted a better frame rate. When we released that demo, the was still early in development and had a lot of adjustments that need to be done. So, it was something that we were actively working on, but when we saw the user feedback we made sure to make that one of our top priorities.”

We can’t really say how well these improvements have been implemented until we see and play the game for ourselves, of course, but we at least have to commend the developers for being willing to listen to and pay attention to feedback being provided by fans. Here’s hoping it leads to a better final product.

Daemon X Machina is out exclusively for the Switch on September 13. We recently got to see more of the game’s combat and customization mechanics in a new trailer- check it out through here.
