Just Cause 4 Danger Rising

Avalanche Studios’ last DLC pack for Just Cause 4, Danger Rising, will release on August 29th. It’s part of the Dare Devils, Demons and Danger Expansion Pass but can also be picked up with the main game as part of the Gold Edition. Furthermore, Gold Edition owners can access the DLC on August 22nd, a full seven days earlier.

What’s going on in Danger Rising and how does it possibly top the chaos of Los Demonios? Well, this time, Rico has a hoverboard and looks to take down the Agency, starting with a strange submarine that’s surfaced near Solis. Eight new missions are included which see powerful Agents coming after our hero.

You’ll also have new weapons like Sequoia 370 Mag-Slug and gravity-defying Stormalong Em Zero magnesis rifle. There’s also the Yellowstone Auto Sniper Rifle which fires a remote controlled drone. The hoverboard will probably offer the most appeal though, as Avalanche senior producer Victoria Setian says, “This is a true game changer. Just Cause 4 already had some of the best traversal mechanics around, but the Hoverboard ties everything together and gives players the smoothest, most dynamic movement system in any action game!”

Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, check out our review for Just Cause 4 here. The game is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
