The Coalition’s Gears 5 is out in just a few weeks and looks to be the biggest game in the series. What’s different from Gears 4 and how have different aspects improved? Let’s take a look at 15 ways that gears 5 differs from its predecessor.

Performance Capture

While previous Gears of War games would have dialogue recording and motion capture done separately, Gears 5 uses performance capture. This means that actors like Laura Bailey, John DiMaggio and so on will voice their characters while also implementing their own body language into their performances. Time will tell how much this adds to the campaign’s story.
