Remnant From the Ashes

Though it’s not perfect, Gunfire Games’ Remnant: From the Ashes garnered quite the positive reaction for its Souls-like mechanics, gunplay and environmental design. Free updates are on the way for players who can’t get enough and the first is Adventure Mode. It’s out on September 12th and will allow for re-rolling specific biomes.

This means you won’t have to re-roll the entire campaign and play through it for a chance to get certain encounters and dungeons. Even certain bosses like can be fought to obtain specific materials for Boss Weapons. Progress carries over into Adventure Mode so this is a great way to collect everything. Ruined Earth, Yaesha and Rhom can be re-rolled when Adventure Mode goes live.

A new dungeon will be releasing on September 19th with Leto’s Lab. Taking place in Research Station Alpha, it was the setting for Leto Apostolakis to invent the World Stone used for humanity to initially travel to other worlds. “Dubious experiments” apparently took place as well and it seems there’s a particular experiment that “went awry”. We’ll have to wait and see what this particular monstrosity could be.
