Rockstar finally announced recently that Red Dead Redemption 2, after a year of speculation and anticipation, will be coming to PC next month. And as is the case with any game’s PC release, the thing that has the most people excited is being able to utilize more powerful hardware to play a much better looking and performing game than what consoles can deliver.

Recently, Rockstar detailed the system requirements for their open world epic, and in that same update, also spoke about some of the technical and visual enhancements people can look forward to in the upcoming PC release. Besides support for 4K resolution and HDR like the game’s PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions, Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will also have multi-monitor configurations, widescreen configurations, faster frame rates (hopefully uncapped), and more.

Rockstar also detailed other, more specific improvements, such as improved lighting, deeper shadows, better textures, improved draw distances, and more.

The developer wrote: “New graphical and technical enhancements for deeper immersion include increased draw distances for better navigation; higher quality global illumination and ambient occlusion for improved day and night lighting; higher quality snow trails, improved reflections and deeper, higher resolution shadows at all distances; tessellated tree textures and improved grass and fur textures for added realism in every plant and animal.”

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One, and launches on PC on November 5 (though its Steam release will be coming some time in December). The game’s PC launch will also feature some exclusive content in the single player campaign- get more details on that through here.
