luigi's mansion 3

As its wont to do before a new Switch title’s release, Nintendo has released an overview trailer for Luigi’s Mansion 3. It’s in Japanese, but it showcases plenty of gameplay for those seeking more. Check it out below.

Much like the various gameplay clips that went live on its Japanese site, the overview trailer details how our reluctant hero will tackle ghosts. While sucking them up is a proven strategy, you might need to further weaken them by slamming. Launching objects at ghosts is also a viable strategy.

We also see a bit more of Gooigi, Luigi’s alter-ego who can be used to traverse dangerous obstacles. He’s weak to water though, so be careful where you deploy him.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is out on October 31st for the Nintendo Switch. For 13 features you need to know about the game before it releases, head here. If you’re interested in picking up the game now, it’s currently available to preload.
