GWENT: The Witcher Card Game Starts iOS Closed Beta

The digital card game gets one step closer to a mobile release.

GWENT Crimson Curse

GWENT was so popular of a minigame inside The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that it eventually spun off into its own game with GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. Despite being about as perfect as possible for mobile, the digital card game oddly didn’t release on either iOS or Android. That’s changing this month, and now we’re one step closer with a closed beta.

As announced via the official Twitter, sign ups for the closed beta on the iOS are open now and the beta client will launch sometime next year. The tweet as well as the sign up link are below.

The game won’t officially come out on mobile until the end of the month on October 29th, but if you’re really craving that GWENT action on the go you can sign up for the closed beta and see if you can get in. The developer will be using the opportunity and testing to make sure everything is running smoothly. As of now there’s been no word on an Android version.
