From the beginning, Death Stranding has had a lot of celebrities joining the cast. It all began with Norman Reedus, who plays the lead character. He was later joined by Mads Mikkelson and since there’s been a host of celebrity faces from actors to directors gracing the game’s many trailers. It’s not just main roles, however, as there’s cameos a plenty, with the first big one being Conan O’Brien who gave the game a fun segment on his show. But as the floodgates are starting to open on the game, more people are coming out to confirm they had their part in the title.

First up, Guerrilla Games gets a special nod as Hermen Hulst is featured (a great tribute considering the amount of work the studio helped with). Then film Director Edgar Wright popped up to say he’s in. He’s directed such cult classics as Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. Finally, another film Director, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, also got a slot for a cameo. Vogt-Roberts is interesting as he’s expressed interest in adapting Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima’s previous long running and legendary series, to film.

Death Stranding releases, cameos and all, on November 8th for PlayStation 4 and then later in 2020 for PC. You can read our review of the game through here.
