It was a quiet week for software sales in Japan. There were no new entries in the top 10 of the charts, and the games that were in the top 10 didn’t sell too much. On top of the pile was Ring Fit Adventuresurprisingly enough, selling over 30,000 units, and it was followed by Pokemon Sword and Shield, which sold almost 30,000 units. Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which topped charts last week, dropped down to third place, selling over 21,000 copies.

Meanwhile, both Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training held on to their positions to round out the top 5, selling over 13,000 units and over 11,000 units respectively. The rest of the software chart was also occupied by games we’ve become used to seeing here by now, including the likes of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Minecraft, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Things on the hardware front were much more interesting. The Nintendo Switch actually saw a bit of a surge in sales, selling nearly 76,000 units across the week. The PS4, meanwhile, held steady at over 6,200 units sold.

You can check out the full software and hardware charts for the week ending February 2 below.
