For years now, Splash Damage has been a regular for Microsoft’s Gears of War series. They have worked as a support studio for their newer titles, and will even get their own shot at an entry in the franchise with the upcoming Gears Tactics (which you can read more about through here). Now, it seems the company is ready to tackle something else on a new platform.

As announced via their official website, they are currently working with Google on an exclusive title to Google Stadia. At this point, there’s no other details given, so it’s hard to say when this will come about, but it’s in the works whatever the game ends up being.

Google’s Stadia has had something of a slow start since its launch near the end of last year. There’s been lots of promises, such as more exclusives coming, but we’ve yet to see those come to fruition. Splash Damage has always been a solid hand, so hopefully their title will help bolster Google’s lineup well.
