Even with next-gen right around the corner, Sony have been going through some major transitional changes, most of which has come through personnel turnover, with the likes of Shawn Layden and Shuhei Yoshida having left their posts of late (with the former having completely moved on from Sony as a whole). Another PlayStation veteran has now left the company, with Michael Denny having left the company to join TT Games at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (via MCV UK).

Michael Denny has been at PlayStation for 25 years, having overseen many of Sony’s European studios during his time at the company, including the likes of Killzone and Horizon: Zero Dawn developers Guerrilla Games, Blood and Truth developers SIE London Studio, and LittleBigPlanet and Dreams studio Media Molecule. His most recent post was Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe, for which he was also in charge of overseeing third party developers making PlayStation exclusives.

At TT Games, Denny will become their VP and studio head.

“After an incredible 25 years with PlayStation, where I had the privilege of working with many amazing people and incredibly talented teams, I wanted to bring my experience to a new opportunity,” said Denny. “TT Games is a studio I worked with in my early days at PlayStation, and it’s been great to see how it’s grown into a world class studio. In partnership with the company’s leadership team, I’m very excited by the opportunity to help create a new vision for TT and lead the studio forward to another successful phase of its evolution.”

On Denny’s arrival, David Haddad, president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said, “We are thrilled to welcome Michael to the team as we look towards an exciting future for TT Games and implement a new strategy for the studio. Michael’s extensive experience in game development and studio leadership, along with his games industry acumen, make him a perfect fit for this important role.”
