Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been among the most highly anticipated video game releases for years now, and with merely days left until the game’s launch, that anticipation is ramping up with every passing minute. Days before launch, however, impressions from critics will be going live, with the review embargo date for the long-awaited remake having been revealed.

According to the countdown on the game’s OpenCritic page, reviews of Final Fantasy 7 Remake will begin going live on April 6, at 3 AM Pacific Time, just four days from now, which means people will have plenty of time to read up on and digest critics’ opinions on the game before they jump into it themselves.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is out for the PS4 on April 10, but with Square Enix having shipped the game early to Australian and European markets to avoid supply issues, copies already seem to be out in the wild. Pre-loads will begin tomorrow– and you’re gonna be thankful for that week’s time, judging by the game’s massive file size.
