Along with launching the free tier for Stadia, Google has announced that Stadia Pro will be free for the next two months. Simply sign up, download the Stadia app on iOS and Android, and play with your device of choice. This is only for the 14 countries where Stadia Pro is currently available though.

Games that will be available to play for free include GRID, Thumper, Destiny 2: The Collection and so on. Current subscribers to Stadia Pro won’t be billed for the next two months. Once the two month free period is over, you’ll be charged $9.99 per month for Stadia Pro. Fortunately, you can opt out at any time.

Google Stadia hasn’t had the best launch since Stadia Pro went live last year. Subscribers have expressed concern over slow updates and Google itself admitted that it would take time to realize its vision for the service. In the meantime, games are still in development – Gears Tactics developer Splash Damage was recently confirmed to be working on an exclusive for the service. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
