Ubisoft have confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be a single player game, and that the co-op and competitive multiplayer features that some previous entries have featured will not be making a return- but it won’t be a strictly single player experience. The game will have online elements, and now we know what those will be.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s official page on the Ubisoft website shares plenty of information on the game, and among that, details on the aforementioned online elements are also given. Apparently, the game will allow you to create and customize your own mercenary Viking raiders, which you will then also be able to share with other players online. In turn, you will be able to recruit mercenaries created by other players and add them to your own Viking horde. Take a look at a screencap of the description on the official page below.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due out this Holiday for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Stadia. Ubisoft will be showing its gameplay world premiere at the Xbox Series X digital event on May 7.
