Slightly Mad Studios took us by surprise when it announced that Project CARS 3 would be releasing this Summer. Out for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the developer promised a revamped Career Mode, a more welcoming experience for new players and much more. It also seems that VR will be included with the PC version.

According to the official website, the sequel will have “best in class VR support” for PC. Even more interesting is how it will have support for up to 12K resolution on the platform. This is in addition to a “visceral” sense of speed, seasons and racing in dynamic weather along with full 24-hour cycles.

The higher resolution support for PC also gives some hope for Xbox Series X and PS5 versions with 4K support. Time will tell though as Slightly Mad hasn’t communicated any details on whether next-gen versions will be coming. As always, stay tuned for more details and updates in the coming months.
