Devolver Direct Scheduled for Mid-July

That's if "all goes well with production" according to the publisher.

Devolver Digital

With this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo being cancelled and several online events taking its place, it’s easy to forget about the Devolver Direct. This is Devolver Digital’s own conference/fever dream where it reveals upcoming games under its label. It seems that mid-July could see the resurgence of the Direct (and the possible continuation of the Nina Struthers saga).

The publisher stated on Twitter that, “Devolver Direct 2020 will be mid July if all goes well with production. This year will have some updates + release dates on upcoming games and a couple of new games to reveal – all with gameplay.” It promised to share more information soon so expect a more concrete release date in the coming weeks.

Some of the games that Devolver will be publishing includes Serious Sam 4 (which was confirmed as timed exclusive for PC and Google Stadia), Blightbound, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and Weird West. Speculating on new game announcements is tough especially given the publisher’s diverse roster. But a new Shadow Warrior wouldn’t be so bad, especially since there’s probably a new announcement from Flying Wild Hog and Devolver. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
