Warhammer 40K Darktide

If you’ve had enough of fighting Skaven and Chaos in Warhammer: Vermintide 2, then prepare to fight, well, more Chaos. Developer Fatshark has unveiled Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, a new four player co-op title that’s coming to Xbox Series X and PC via Steam. It’s out in 2021 with a new trailer highlighting the terror that awaits.

The story takes place on Atoma Prime where a cult of heretics known as the Admonition has seized control. The Inquisition arrives on the planet to snuff out the forces of Chaos, though there seems to be an undead problem as well. Either way, you’ll venture into the hive on Tertium and fight for survival.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide didn’t receive any gameplay footage so we’ll need to wait for more details in the coming months. It will be coming to Xbox Game Pass though, further sweetening the deal that the service offers. Stay tuned in the meantime and check out our review for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 here.
