Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s been one up and down year for sports around the world. While some have returned, others are looking less likely to, and even those trying to come back may not have their full seasons. But on the virtual side, things are going as per schedule. EA is coming with their slate of sports titles, including Madden NFL 21, with all the stuff you love (or don’t) about the football game, and even a few new things. And now we have an idea of what the day one update for the game is like.
As reported by Twisted Voxel, apparently the PS4 version of Madden NFL 21 is out there, and so is information on its day one update. On PS4, it seems the patch is 7.9 GB, which isn’t too terrible for patches nowadays. The only notes are “Major Stability Improvements.” While this only applies to the PS4 version, most likely this will also be the same, or at least similar, to all versions that will launch next week.
Madden NFL 21 will release on August 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also later launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with free upgrade options available, which you can read more about through here. For everything you’ll need to know about this year’s entry in the franchise, we’ve got you covered through here.
