Later this year, we are set to revisit the classic Diablo 2 with a remaster called Resurrected. The game is quite a step up visually from the original, which you can really see in the comparison between the two, but hopes to keep the overall feel and play of it faithful to the beloved original. The game is also set to get a series of Alpha Tests, but as of now, there’s been nothing officially announced about either. However, it seems the Korean Game Management Committee may have let things slip a bit early.
As spotted by some Korean players, the Korean Game Management Committee registered a test schedule for the title in Korea. That was since deleted, but users at the Korean site Inven (as spotted and transcribed by Wccftech), managed to get a snapshot. According to that, the first test could start on April 9th and run up until the 13th with an allowance of 19,999 testers. That would put the potential start of the test as early as the end of this week, though whether that would be worldwide or restricted to regional is unclear.
Diablo 2: Resurrected is set to release sometime this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. We’ll keep you updated for when the first tests are officially announced.
