Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom might not have been the revelation that its predecessor was for so many people, but it was a solid game in its own right, delivering a charming role playing adventure and gorgeous visuals, among other things. And now, it seems like Level 5 might be bringing their action RPG to more players soon.

As spotted by Gematsu, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (or the ESRB) has recently handed an age rating to Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Prince’s Edition for the Nintendo Switch. The fact that it’s called “Prince’s Edition” lends further credence to it being real, and might be releasing as an enhanced edition of sorts. An announcement of the game coming to the Switch hasn’t been made, of course, but one would expect that to happen sooner rather than later.

This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, of course, and that’s not just because the Switch is so well suited to a game like this. The first Ni no Kuni also released for the Switch back in 2019.

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, meanwhile, is currently available on PS4 and PC. Level 5 confirmed a couple of years ago that a new game in the series was in development, but there have been next to no updates on that front since then.
