Among Us

Innersloth’s social deduction game Among Us absolutely blew up last year, gaining unprecedented popularity out of nowhere, and it hasn’t really let up since. Recently, the game was also given away for free in the week from May 27 to June 3 on the Epic Games Store, as part of the digital storefront’s weekly giveaways of games, and it seems that the title added a whole host of new players as a result.

Developer Innersloth recently took to Twitter to confirm that during the period when Among Us was given away for free on the Epic Games Store, over 15 million copies of the game were claimed by players. That’s a massive number that most games fail to hit in their entire lifetimes- Among Us, which is already quite successful, seems to have done so with some ease.

Among Us is currently available on PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. It is also releasing for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One this year, and will be available via Game Pass on Xbox when it launches.
