The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim was a massive game for Bethesda and a huge step for the franchise as a whole. That’s been made apparent by the game’s seemingly unending set of re-releases that has seen the game come out to pretty much everything vaguely modern over the course of now three console generations. Well, it seems it is time to do it once again, as a new edition will be coming to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary.

As announced via QuakeCon, the Anniversary Edition will come in November to coincide with the game’s 10th year since initial launch. It will not just be a simple re-release, but will include new content from the Creation Club, such as new quests and activities such as fishing. Those who are existing owners of the last release, Special Edition, will get an upgrade option to purchase Anniversary. If this is, somehow, your first edition of the game and get the game on current generation consoles, there will be a free upgrade option to next gen systems. You can read more details at the official blog through here.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition will release on November 11th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. You can also get the title now via the Special Edition, which features the full base game and all of its expansions across all major platforms. Those who own that edition of the game will get three pieces of free Creation Club content regardless of whether they upgrade or not.
