Grand Theft Auto - The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition

Rockstar’s approach to announcing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been more than a little strange. They announced the remastered trilogy after numerous leaks but gave next to no details on it, though recently, an official support page that went up before it was supposed to ended up spilling the beans on the nature of the updates and enhancements in the remastered collection, its PC requirements, and more.

Now, the store page for GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has gone live on the Rockstar store, and it has confirmed an exact release date. The trilogy will launch on November 11, with a physical release coming on December 6, true to a recent report. All the aforementioned prematurely revealed details are also included in the store page. Meanwhile, the trilogy is priced at $60, though there’s no word on whether or not it will cost the same on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Interestingly enough, the page also mentions that Grove Street Games – which has been responsible for mobile ports for a number of GTA games – is also involved in the trilogy’s development. Seeing as the trilogy will also launch for mobile devices next year, that makes sense.

Of course, we still haven’t seen the remasters in action, or even seen a single screenshot of them. Hopefully Rockstar will change that soon.
