Reception for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been lukewarm at best and downright negative at worst, resulting in Rockstar apologizing for the state the remastered collection launched in and beginning to deploy major patches in a bid to fix the three games. If you’re set on buying the game though, and have your eye on its physical releases, you’re going to have to wait slightly longer.
While previously GTA: The Trilogy was going to get its physical release on all consoles in early December, Rockstar has now announced that that release has been slightly pushed back. On PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One, the remastered trilogy’s physical release has been pushed back by a few days to December 17, while on the Nintendo Switch, it will now release in early 2022, with a specific date currently unannounced.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with iOS and Android versions due out sometime in 2022.
